Affiliates

Many newer, smaller regulated exchanges choose to become WFE Affiliate markets.

WFE Affiliates status does not automatically imply an adherence to the WFE membership criteria, and unlike membership is not subject to peer review or vote by the general assembly.

Under the terms of the merger with IOMA, several clearing houses and futures exchanges, options exchanges and commodity exchanges were automatically admitted as WFE Affiliates.

  • WFE Affiliates  and Correspondents are home to over 5200 listed companies
  • The value of these listed companies is over USD 6 trillion
  • In 2008, USD 2000 billion were traded on WFE Affiliate and Correspondent exchanges
