  • CFTC allows Turkish Derivatives Exchange’s Futures contract based on ISE-30 to be offered and sold in the U.S.

    The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s (CFTC’s) Office of General Counsel issued a no-action letter permitting the offer and sale in the United States of Turkish Derivatives Exchange’s futures contract based on the Istanbul Stock Exchange 30 Stock Index (ISE-30).

  • Shanghai Stock Exchange takes seven measures to crack down on insider dealing

    To strengthen the supervision over insider dealing, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) has recently held a special meeting on supervision work to study the arrangements of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) for cracking down on insider dealing and pledge to give its first priority in frontline market supervision to deterring insider dealing and take several measures to strengthen the supervision over insider dealing.

  • NYSE Euronext completes migration of NYSE and NYSE Amex to U.S. data center

    NYSE Euronext (NYX) announced that its U.S. data center in Mahwah , N.J. has successfully completed the migration of more than 4,500 equities issues listed on the New York Stock Exchange and NYSE Amex. With the NYSE and NYSE Amex equities primary matching engines now inside the new data center, NYSE Euronext will begin the migration of its other markets as well as NYSE Technologies’ diverse product portfolio that includes co-location services, direct data feeds, trading infrastructure on-demand, SuperFeed and its Risk Management Gateway (RMG) service.

  • CME Group to offer customers exposure to benchmark U.S. Treasury securities

    CME Group announced the launch of On-the-Run U.S. Treasury futures beginning Monday, October 25, 2010. These new futures contracts will provide market participants with efficient and cost-effective price exposure to 2-Year, 5-Year, and 10-Year U.S. Treasury on-the-run yields. The new contracts will be listed with, and subject to, the rules and regulations of the CBOT.

  • NASDAQ OMX and DWS Investments launch Volatility Target Index to manage investment risk

    The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) and DWS Investments, the U.S. retail unit of Deutsche Bank's global Asset Management division, today jointly announce the launch of the DWS NASDAQ-100 Volatility Target Index (Nasdaq:VOLNDX), a new benchmark designed to provide exposure to the NASDAQ-100 Index(R) in a risk-controlled manner.
